Marinara Sauce

The recipe for this marinara sauce dates back to the early 1900s in Naples, Italy. It traveled to the United States when Nicola and Edda Caputo came from Italy in search of the American dream. They opened the Red Rose Restaurant, and have been using this recipe for over 55 years.

This mouth watering pasta sauce uses tomatoes directly imported from the San Marzano region of Italy, gently hand picked during their peak season for the freshest, best tasting sauce!

This marinara is the perfect blend of these robust tomatoes, fresh basil, parsley, and garlic, (YES…we said fresh), and just the right amount of black pepper.

The Marinara is all natural, has no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, is Gluten FREE and Non-GMO, with no added sugars. In addition, it is naturally lower in sodium than the competitive sets. Only 210 mg per serving.

Package includes 3 25 oz. jars.

Ingredients: Imported Italian Whole Plum Tomatoes, Tomato Puree, Oil (50/50 Blend of Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Canola Oil), Garlic, Salt, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Basil, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder.

The Marinara sauce is heat and serve, and can be used for any application where a red sauce is a compliment. Poured over your favorite pasta or ravioli, in a delicious lasagna or parmesan dish, or simply used as a dip for bread (our personal fave)!

This sauce is best paired with a hearty and rich Cabernet, although goes well with any full bodied red wine.

Red Rose Restaurant & Pizzeria has been family owned and operated since 1963.
